Algol Counter UAS

Algol is not a single product but is more so a system of systems that work jointly to deliver a comprehensive end-to-end UAS detection and interception solution. Algol networks with its ground-based sensors as well as with nearby Altair UAS platforms to monitor for threats. Once threats are detected Algol exercises decision making with all the assets in its ad-hoc mesh network to deliver a layered CUAS defence.

Air-to-air Arturus drones can be tasked to intercept and destroy UAS targets at the outer edge of the defensive area. Algol's ground-based radars in tandem with aerial Altair-mounted radars help bring interceptors on target before Arcturus' on-board terminal guidance brings it in for the kill.

The next tier of the layered defence employs Algol microwave jammers to bring down the target. Ground and vehicle-mounted microwave emitters overwhelm communications and on-board circuitry thereby neutralizing the target without the need for bullets or kinetic interceptors.
