Michael Cambare
Co-Founder & CEO
Michael’s path spans defence, technology, entrepreneurship, and a deep love for Canada, threads that guide his work at Vekta. He graduated top of his faculty from the Royal Military College with a computer science and math degree, speciality in machine learning. He served for ten years as an Army Signals Officer before shifting to startups, where he built and exited several tech ventures, balancing innovation and execution. Today, that mix of technical fluency, field experience, and pragmatic leadership steadies Michael with a deep resolve to build real solutions for Canadian defence.

3D Printing
The Arcturus tactical UAS is made up of 50% 3D printed components. Its structural frame is made using a strong yet light CNC'd wooden frame. This provides an unparalleled level of versatility whereby replacement parts or even entire platforms can be assembled in-situ with mobile 3D fabricators. Making use of 3D printed components keeps supply chains light, flexible, and low-cost while also giving all those same benefits to the unit itself.
